White County Friends of the Public Libraries will hold its annual membership meeting at Nacoochee Presbyterian Church, Saturday Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. Patricia Howell, author of Medicinal Plants of the Southern Appalachians, will speak about her book, followed by a book signing and raffle for gift baskets from Mountainside Farmacy & Appalachian Roots.  

Free admission for all paid members. Seating is limited so preregistration is required. Non-members $10 pre-registered, $15 at the door if available.
