“Funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) enables Georgia Public Library Service to provide services that all our public libraries can use, taking advantage of economies of scale and multiplying impact across the state.”*

Thanks to the LSTA, almost 300 libraries in the state of Georgia are able to be part of the PINES system. Nearly two million Georgians have PINES library cards, and cardholders live in every county in the state. Any resident of Georgia may obtain a free PINES card by visiting any PINES library. Georgians with PINES cards have access to materials from all PINES libraries that can be delivered to your home library with no charge. That means they have access to more than 11 million shared library materials across the state. PINES creates equity no matter where you live. #GeorgiaLibraries
